In response to COVID-19 many community events have been postponed or cancelled altogether. However, some organizers are getting creative with how they can bring their communities together during social distancing; virtual community events!
In order to connect people to the outdoors, Wilderness Inquiry is partnering with a variety of organizers to help their community events go virtual. Head to the link in our bio to learn more.
Downtown Dash 5k
This year Wilderness Inquiry has partnered with Advantage Health for their Virtual Downtown Dash! You can sign up to participate through June 1st. For every registration a donation will be made to help support us here at Wilderness Inquiry.

National Get Outdoors Day
This annual event encourages Americans, especially youth, to get active outdoors and embrace our parks, forests, refuges and other public lands and waters. Celebrate the day by walking your dog in a park, going for a hike, planting a garden, exercising outdoors, or watching local wildlife from a safe distance. If you can’t get outside, watch a virtual tour of Powderhorn Park below!
Take Aim at Summer Fun
This community program is hosted by Urban Roots in partnership with Ramsey County Parks & Recreation, Saint Paul Parks & Recreation, the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and many other organizations. Normally hosted at Keller Regional Park, this community event’s activities will be moving to an online platform.
