5th Annual Great River Race

Wilderness Inquiry, the National Park Service, and many other partners have teamed up to host the Great River Race on the Mississippi River. The big race funds the Urban Wilderness Canoe Adventures (UWCA) outdoor education program, addressing the achievement gap in our schools.
Since 2008, the UWCA has served over 75,000 kids, getting them out on our nation’s rivers for outdoor learning experiences that are boosting academic engagement. We can do more if you come on board!
Participating is fun, easy and memorable! No prior paddling experience necessary. We provide Voyageur canoes, paddles, life-vests, a guide to stern each boat, event t-shirts, and lunch.
For more information contact Julie Storck at firstname.lastname@example.org or 612-676-9424.
