Marking its 12th year, Wilderness Inquiry’s nationally-recognized Canoemobile program is gearing up to hit the road for its 2022 fall tour – bringing environmental learning and connection to the outdoors to youth across the Midwest and East Coast.

Traveling across the country, Canoemobile offers a unique opportunity for students, families, and communities to connect with nature and one another through accessible water-based recreation, right on their local waterways.

The continued challenges of the past year have shown the importance of shared outdoor experiences as a positive force in building community. Programs like Canoemobile offer youth and families the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive outside – together.

Families absolutely LOVED it!! We made it part of our GET INTO NATURE series as part of social-emotional support for families. Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience, which is out of reach for many of our underserved families,” – Brenda, Chicago Public Schools Parent University

Learn more about Canoemobile’s powerful impact and how you can support outdoor learning for youth in your community and beyond. Follow Wilderness Inquiry on social media for updates on the Canoemobile fall tour 2022!

During the summer months, Canoemobile travels and paddles around Minnesota and the Upper Midwest. When the school year starts, we hit the road for our national tour, sending multiple Canoemobile rigs to communities throughout the Midwest and along the East Coast.
