As the Senior Manager of Development, Shannon provides strategic direction and leadership as Wilderness Inquiry grows its fundraising efforts, with a focus on individual giving and special events. She works in collaboration with communications, event, and major gifts staff to deepen engagement with Wilderness Inquiry's supporters and community.
Prior to working at Wilderness Inquiry, Shannon led fundraising efforts for nonprofits in the housing, animal welfare, and racial/gender justice sectors. She brings more than 15 years of experience to Wilderness Inquiry that includes nonprofit fundraising, event planning, communications, marketing, and public relations. Shannon believes that everyone deserves the chance to find peace in nature, and is thrilled to play a part in making that possible for more people.
