
Cecile Bedor
Board Member
As the Executive Vice President of Real Estate for CommonBond Communities (an affordable housing developer in the upper Midwest), Cecile is responsible for all aspects of real estate development; construction management; portfolio asset management; and investor compliance. Cecile’s most recent prior roles include Executive Vice President of GREATER MSP, and Director of the City of Saint Paul’s Department of Planning and Economic Development and Executive Director of the City’s Housing & Redevelopment Authority. Cecile has also held positions with the former Minneapolis Public Library system, the National Equity Fund, the Metropolitan Council, and Aeon. Cecile has two adult children, and lives in south Minneapolis.
She joined the Wilderness Inquiry Board of Directors in 2018 because of her passion for Wilderness Inquiry’s mission as it reflects her commitment to equity: creating opportunities for absolutely everyone to learn about environmental stewardship and frolic in the great outdoors!
