Learn about the Freshwater Quest

The Minnesota Freshwater Quest is designed as a resource for parents, teachers and students. Individual families or whole classrooms can explore diverse habitats near their home or school, participate in hands-on environmental education on local waterways while paddling in 24’ Voyageur canoes with Canoemobile, collect and share water quality data, and complete a youth-led project to improve their local ecosystem.
