The centerpiece of the Canoemobile is integrated classroom and outdoor education experiences utilizing under-appreciated urban resources, especially urban waterways.
Outdoor Activities Days offer experiential education opportunities for K-12 students and youth organizations of all abilities. Your students will rotate through activity stations like Voyageur canoeing on Lake Snelling or the Mississippi River learning about Fort Snelling’s natural history, hike through time exploring the cultural importance of Fort Snelling, become citizen scientists to test the quality of the waterways, and more!
