Trip Assistant Openings
Trip Assistants (TA’s) go at a reduced fee in exchange for helping our professional staff conduct a safe, high-quality experience in the field. TA’s help in a variety of ways. Sometimes, TA’s provide additional strength or balance in a group. At other times, a TA may be needed to provide assistance to a person with a disability, or to assist with other functions like driving a vehicle.
Being a Trip Assistant can be a rewarding way to help others and see the world. However, it does involve some responsibility and a commitment to fulfill our mission of inclusion. If you would like to become a Trip Assistant, please Click Here for more information and an application.
To receive the Trip Assistant discount, you must use this web window. If you register through the main Wilderness Inquiry website you will not receive the discount. To register, simply browse the trips listed below, and click “Register Now.”
Note: Trips that say “Join Wait List” still need Trip Assistant. A special spot on the roster is being held just for a Trip Assistant, so please fill out the Wait List request and we will sign you up for the trip.
