Description:
Canoe with a National Park Service Ranger along the Mighty Mississippi River! You'll learn about this wonderful resource that flows through the Twin Cities and experience the local flora and fauna that call it home. Relax and take in the sights--including up close views of the heron rookery!
How it works: Meet at Boom Island Park and we will shuttle you upstream to River Park to begin our paddle. The route takes 3-4 hours, with about 3 hours of actual paddling time, and you will end the trip at Graco Park, and will require a short walk across the street to return to your vehicle. Detailed instructions on your route and where to meet will be sent upon confirmation of your participation.
