Though born in Minnesota, Will Onkka grew up traveling from an early age. As the son of a U.S. ARMY doctor, Will lived in Hawaii, Kansas, Texas and India before returning to Minnesota for high school and college. Will highly values the skills and perspectives gained from meeting new people and witnessing new places. After graduating from St. Olaf College with a Studio Art major, Will spent years exploring and living near the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness as a canoe guide, naturalist and camp manager. Now located in Minneapolis to pursue a teaching licensure, Will is always eager to establish new connections and seeking the "inner and outer wildness". Kind of like a Windows 98 operating system, Will is known for pauses while speaking - but he loves a good conversation and relishes a great book!
