As Youth Programs Coordinator, Mary supports Canoemobile development and focuses on furthering youth engagement with the outdoors. She started her time at Wilderness Inquiry as a Forest Service intern and has since traveled with three national Canoemobile tours up and down the East and West Coast.
Born and raised in Western Massachusetts, a love for nature was cemented at an early age through paddling and hiking New England’s rivers and mountains. Mary fell in love with Minnesota’s landscape after an ecology internship focusing on oak savanna and grasslands. She is excited to continue spreading her love for the outdoors and fostering the next generation of environmental stewards.
