If you've ever been on one of our Minnesota Canoemobile trips, you may have met ‘Jacques the Voyageur.' He is Jack's alter ego—an 18th century French Voyageur who teaches kids about the fur trade through live reenactment. Or you may have just seen Jack out paddling with us on the river, as he is passionate about the Minnesota Canoemobile program and connecting urban kids to the outdoors. Jack played a critical role in launching the Canoemobile program (previously UWCA) and continues to work on its development both in the Twin Cities and in cities around the U.S.
