Born on the equator and raised in Minnesota’s glorious northwoods, Duluthian Cory Maria Dack decided to go investigate her Ecuadorian heritage by teaching English in Quito, the historic capital city of Ecuador. After a magical year of rappelling down waterfalls in the cloud forest, swimming with sharks in the Galápagos Islands, climbing snow-capped peaks throughout the Andes mountains, and trying her best not to step on anacondas while hiking through the Amazon jungle, the pull of Lake Superior and the call of the loon began to beckon her home. As such, Cory is incredibly excited to return to Wilderness Inquiry this summer to live out their motto of “Anyone, Anytime, Anywhere” every single day! Cory’s favorite part of working for Wilderness Inquiry is the way WI is dedicated to providing transformational wilderness experiences to people of all different levels of abilities. She looks forward to making some incredible memories with you on trail in the very near future!
