2019 Great River Race Results:
Saturday, September 14th was a beautiful day for our 9th Annual Great River Race. Our most successful race to date, the event engaged more than 350 paddlers, partners, and friends and raised more than $105,000 to support the Canoemobile program in Minnesota. Canoemobile connects more than 28,000 young people to outdoor opportunities annually.
We want to thank Mayor Melvin Carter, Mayor Jacob Frey, former Minneapolis Mayor Sharon Sayles-Belton, and all of our partners and sponsors who make the race — and Canoemobile Minnesota — successful. In addition to boat sponsors, we received in-kind and additional support from BlackStack Brewing, The Cove, Dunn Bros Coffee, Kowalski’s, Nature Valley, Watergate Marina, and Westwood. To sponsor a boat or get involved in the 2020 Great River Race, please contact us at 612-676-9400 or [email protected].
Check out the following press coverage from the event from KSTP, Star Tribune, and Pioneer Press.
