Experience the Mighty Mississippi River from a 24-foot cedar strip canoe while enjoying bluegrass music provided on the banks of the river by Gravel on Mud.
Gravel on Mud is a 5-piece, highly eclectic bluegrass band, playing everything from the Ramones to the Louvin Brothers to their own originals. Their charm is only enhanced by the great outdoors. They might take a request or two as well. Join Dave Payne on guitar and vocals, Steve Wells on mandolin and vocals and Mike Murphy on banjo for an outdoor show along the riverbank.
We provide water and snacks, but you should bring a bag lunch—coolers are provided. We will shuttle you back to your car after the trip is over. Detailed instructions on your route and where to meet will be sent upon confirmation of your participation.
