What an honor to be awarded Charity Navigator’s 4-star rating for the fourth consecutive year and eighth year overall! In 2018 thus far, Wilderness Inquiry has commemorated great stories and accomplishments from the past 40 years and we are pleased to celebrate this unprecedented achievement as well. This award is the highest ranking Charity Navigator grants to nonprofits and demonstrates that Wilderness Inquiry is carrying out the mission of inclusive adventures in a financially efficient and transparent way. Only 15 percent of charities assessed by the nation’s largest evaluator have accomplished 4 consecutive 4-star ratings.
“Attaining a 4-star rating verifies that Wilderness Inquiry exceeds industry standards and outperforms most charities in your area of work,” said Michael Thatcher, President and CEO of Charity Navigator. “This exceptional designation from Charity Navigator sets Wilderness Inquiry apart from its peers and demonstrates to the public its trustworthiness.”
Greg Lais, Founder and Executive Director of Wilderness Inquiry, shared, “We are committed to ensuring that all support for Wilderness Inquiry has the greatest impact possible, with donations going directly to inclusive programs in the outdoors. The 4-star rating from Charity Navigator is an honor and demonstrates our commitment to quality and good stewardship.”
