Equipment & Clothing

Having the right gear and clothing is important for your comfort and safety on your trip. However, you need not spend a lot of money on gear. Whatever trip you choose, WI provides all necessary gear, including canoes and kayaks, paddles, tents, cooking gear, packs, and a well stocked first aid kit. All you need to provide is your personal gear, such as clothing, footwear and, if you are camping, a sleeping bag. We also have gear that can be borrowed at no extra cost if there is something you do not have.

One of the best ways to stay comfortable outdoors is to dress in layers, typically with a moisture wicking inner layer, a warm middle layer, and an outer shell to protect from wind and rain. For tips and pointers on dressing in layers learn more here, or call us.
