Is Wilderness Inquiry for You?
If you enjoy the outdoors and like sharing life’s adventures with others, the short answer is yes! When we say that Wilderness Inquiry is designed to serve people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities, we mean it–including you. The people who join us are interesting, fun-loving, open minded folks who you will enjoy traveling with.
Our trips are active adventures, but they are not endurance tests. You will hike, paddle, and explore at an active but comfortable pace. Depending upon which trip you take, you may sleep in a tent or in a comfortable lodge. If you are relatively active you will do great on our trips. That does not mean you won’t be tired and possibly sore at the end of the day, in fact you should count on that, but it’s a good tired and not too sore.
People who join us generally fit the profile below:
Age range: 18 – 90. Average age is probably 50. Most adults who join us are between 40 and 65.
Background: People come from all 50 states, and range in professions from doctors to teachers to accountants–you name it. No matter where you come from, you will enjoy your group of fellow travelers. People make connections on these trips that truly do last a lifetime.
