| On one end of the outdoor adventure spectrum, there are numerous non-profits whose mission is to serve one facet of society, like camps for urban youth or for people with a certain disability. On the other end of the spectrum, there are many businesses that cater to able-bodied people with the economic resources to afford an adventure travel vacation. Both types of organizations are focused on serving their distinct, homogeneous populations.
